Kisan Jo Joins CPB as Executive Vice President of Retail Markets and Operations

HONOLULU, HI | November 10, 2021 – Local business leader Kisan Jo has joined Central Pacific Bank (CPB) as Executive Vice President of Retail Markets and Operations, according to an announcement today by Arnold Martines, the current Chief Banking Officer and incoming President and COO of Central Pacific Bank.

In his new role, Jo will have oversight of the bank’s branch network, call center, deposit and loan operations, consumer lending and client experience.

“We are pleased that Kisan is joining our executive team. His depth of experience in the hospitality industry, and his understanding of how to effectively operationalize how customers are served aligns nicely with CPB’s high standards of client experience,” said Martines. “Kisan will help lead our efforts to modernize our branch network and make it easier for our customers to bank with us in the future.”

Jo will be succeeding David Hudson, who will serve as an Executive Coach responsible for training the next generation of leadership at CPB.

“I am pleased to welcome Kisan to the CPB Ohana,” Hudson said. “With his background in the hospitality industry, I’m confident he can drive real change here and take our already strong service culture to an even higher level.” 

Jo most recently served as President of Prince Resorts Hawaii where he was responsible for the Hawaii operations, including the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Golf Course, the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and Golf Course, Prince Waikiki and the Hawaii Prince Golf Club.

He holds an MBA from the University of Hawaii Shidler School of Business and a BS in Accounting from the University of the West Indies. Active in the community, he is a member of the Hawaii Business Roundtable, an Executive Board Member of the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association as well as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Hawaii Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
