CPB hires Jason Lazzerini to lead its Digital Team


HONOLULU, HI (Dec. 7, 2022) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) announced that Jason Lazzerini has joined the bank as its new executive vice president and chief digital officer. In this capacity, he will direct the digital products team to develop product and service strategies to enhance the bank’s digital strategy. He will be a member of the bank’s Managing Committee which oversees the bank’s operations.

“CPB is committed to being a digital leader in Hawaii and we are excited about Jason joining our team as he will continue the positive momentum and bring even greater innovation that will benefit our valued customers,” said Arnold Martines, president, chief operating officer and incoming CEO. “His experience in financial services will serve the bank well as we continue the transformation of our company to serve our customers more effectively in the future.”

Lazzerini brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the financial services sector to CPB. Most recently, he was principal for his company JL Consulting. Previous roles include the president and CEO of the largest real estate services company in Hawaii, with a brokerage, property management division along with title, escrow and mortgage lines of business. Lazzerini has held leadership roles in the consumer banking and wholesale lending sectors at Deutsche Bank, U.S. Bancorp, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and a local bank in Hawaii. 

Jason is proud to have graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Northern Illinois University. A man of many talents he was also a professional musician and is still active in the arts. He lends his expertise to community organizations and serves on the Executive Board of Aloha Medical Missions and as an advisor on various non-profit committees.
