Sharene Urakami-Oyama is vice president and small business market manager at Central Pacific Bank. She has been in the financial sector for over seven years and spent over 20 years in retail sales and management. Sharene is a past Pacific Century Fellow and Pacific Business News 40 Under 40. She enjoys connecting with the community and serves as a board member for the University of Hawaii Alumni Association, Kaimuki-Waialae YMCA, UH Letterwinners Club, and also serves as a troop leader for Girl Scouts.


Cynthia Yamasaki – Featured Speaker

Cynthia Yamasaki works with business owners and new entrepreneurs to amplify their business acumen and opportunities to contribute positive impact in Hawaii’s community and economy. She has more than three decades of business experience with expertise in leadership, strategic planning, finance, human resources, business development, and customer service. She worked her way up from entry-level box office cashier to senior leadership roles in financial institutions, corporations, and nonprofits, and has been a small business owner since 2007.


Michael Kim

Michael Kim is vice president and business banking team manager at Central Pacific Bank. He has over 13 years of banking experience and has been with Central Pacific Bank since 2008. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business, and also graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School. Michael is a board member of Aloha Medical Mission and serves as treasurer, and as member of the Executive Committee.
