Small Business Spotlight: Commercial Tire Source

This month, we’re spotlighting Commercial Tire Source and their President, Ronald Rodrigues. Commercial Tire Source was awarded the 2022 Family-Owned Business of the Year Award for the State of Hawaii by the Hawaii Small Business Administration (SBA).

Commercial Tire Source is the only locally owned and managed tire dealership on Maui. They support local construction companies, farmers, non-profits, golf courses, everyday commuters, and passionate car enthusiasts through their services and tire dealings. They are known for quality customer service and deliver on this by providing their customers with safe and reliable tires to get them safely to their destinations.

Commercial Tire Source was founded in 2006 by Anthony Rodrigues. The business started with two employees, and only focused on tire sales. In 2011, Anthony’s son, Ronald, joined the family business with over 13 years of experience as a mechanic. Today, Commercial Tire Source has five employees, and their service offerings have grown to include the installation and service of commercial and retail tires. In 2021, Ronald successfully took over as president from his father and has continued to develop strong relationships with his customers and the community.

The tire dealership has a large selection of tire inventory for vehicles, ranging from golf carts to large farm tractors and construction equipment.
