CPB opens new Lihue Branch to serve the Kauai community

LIHUE, HI (May 27, 2025) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) today announces the relocation of its Lihue Branch as part of its ongoing commitment and transition plan to serve the Kauai community.

The previous Lihue Branch, located at 4364 Rice Street, permanently closed at the end of the business day on Friday, May 23, 2025. The site will be redeveloped by Riverbend Management and Foulger-Pratt into a mixed-use project featuring 66 affordable housing units and 16,000 square feet of commercial space.

Following the closure of the Rice Street location, the CPB team utilized the Memorial Day weekend to finalize the move to the new facility located just one and a half miles away at 4454 Nuhou Street, Suite 408. The new branch location officially opened for business on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.

The new Nuhou Street branch is designed to provide seamless continuity, offering the following services previously available at the Rice Street location, which includes foreign currency exchange, wire transfers, and safe deposit box access.

The new location adds interior and exterior ATMs to boost customer convenience. Both ATMs provide CPB’s best-in-class features, including top of the line security functions, card tap feature, dispensing multiple bill denominations, offering service in multiple languages, and providing envelope-free check and cash deposits.
