Central Pacific Bank Foundation Marches Against Domestic Violence
HONOLULU, HI (October 2, 2025) – Central Pacific Bank Foundation proudly participated in the 31st Annual Men’s March Against Domestic Violence (Men’s March) on October 2, 2025, standing alongside more than 1,300 community members, partner organizations, and advocates at Iolani Palace to raise awareness about domestic violence and promote peace and non-violence in Hawaii’s homes.
Hosted annually by the Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC) and local community partners, the Men’s March has become a powerful demonstration of solidarity, drawing hundreds of men and allies to take a public stand against violence in Hawaii’s families. This year’s event continued that tradition, highlighting the importance of prevention, accountability, and community support.

Representatives from Central Pacific Bank Foundation both cheered on and joined the marchers as they walked from Iolani Palace through downtown Honolulu carrying signs and pausing to listen to survivor stories and words of encouragement from community leaders. The gathering emphasized that ending domestic violence requires everyone’s participation, including men stepping forward as advocates and role models for healthy, respectful relationships.

“The Men's March is more than a walk — it’s a commitment,” said Matt Hunter, who helped bring the event to Central Pacific Bank Foundation’s attention. “By standing together, we affirm that violence is never the answer and that every man has a role in shaping a community of non-violence."
