Ready To Learn

content image

Thanks to the support of our generous customers and community, and the dedication of our hard-working employees, Central Pacific Bank collected 11 pallets of school supplies and $6,220 in monetary donations through its month-long Ready to Learn program in July. These donations will help approximately 1,577 low-income Hawaii keiki return to school with the basic supplies needed for them to excel.

This bankwide effort rallied the talents of our CPB employees: Our 34 CPB branches creatively designed collection bins and served as collection sites, employees volunteered to help fill backpacks. And employees also contributed time and effort by organizing Ready to Learn fundraisers.

“On behalf of Helping Hands Hawaii and the Ready to Learn program, Mahalo for all of your efforts in making this year’s Ready to Learn campaign such a huge success.” said Scott Morishige, Program Director of Helping Hands Hawaii
