Central Pacific Bank Announces Key Leadership Promotions

HONOLULU, HI | May 25, 2021 – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) announced the promotion of Diane Murakami, Catherine Camp, Steve Corbisier, Rachel Cunningham, and Rusty Rasmussen to Group Senior Vice Presidents of their respective divisions.

CPB has promoted Diane Murakami to Group Senior Vice President, Division Manager, Commercial Banking. In her new position, Murakami is responsible for the strategic direction of the Commercial and Business Banking Divisions.

Murakami has 30 years of experience in the financial industry. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance degree from Loyola Marymount University and graduated with honors from Pacific Coast Banking School. Murakami is chair of the Finance Council -Roman Catholic Church, and serves on the boards of Catholic Charities Hawaii, Mental Health Kokua and the Kahala Business Association.

CPB has promoted Catherine Camp to Group Senior Vice President, Division Manager, Commercial Real Estate Lending. In her new position, Camp is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the Commercial Real Estate Lending Division (CRELD) and Branch Strategy.

Camp brings over 25 years of experience in real estate planning, development and asset management. Prior to joining CPB, Camp was Director of Planning and Development at Kamehameha Schools. Camp currently serves on the boards of NAIOP, Palama Settlement, Kaʻōhao Charter School, the Hawaii Council for Urban Land Institute, and Child & Family Services Real Property Board.

CPB has promoted Steve Corbisier to Group Senior Vice President & Division Manager, Wealth Management, Trust Administration. In his new position, Corbisier is responsible for overall management of the Wealth Management Division, which is comprised of Private Banking, Central Pacific Investment Services, Personal Trust, Investment Management, and Relationship Banking.

Corbisier has over 30 years of experience in the financial service industry. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Corbisier is vice chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii.

Rachel Cunningham

CPB has promoted Rachel Cunningham to Group Senior Vice President & Division Manager, Branch Banking, Retail Markets. In her position, Cunningham is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Branch Banking Division.

Cunningham has been with CPB since 2009. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Occidental College and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. She serves on the YWCA Oahu board of directors and the finance committee.


Rusty Rasmussen

CPB has promoted Rusty Rasmussen to Group Senior Vice President, Division Manager, Home Loans Division. In his new position, Rasmussen is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Home Loans Division’s origination and operations.

Rasmussen has over 30 years of management experience in the mortgage industry in Hawaii. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Hawaii and served as its president from 2017 to 2018.
