Central Pacific Bank has been with me through my Olympic journey, my last few years on tour and my recent evolution as I step back from the tour.

Central Pacific Bank (CPB) announces the hiring of Travis Kikuchi as the new senior vice president and director of Private Banking for the Wealth Management team. In this role Kikuchi will be responsible for managing Private Banking and oversee key areas including business development, recruitment, risk management, loan servicing and compliance.

We started Island Snow in 1979, with just a single location in International Marketplace. Shave ice is pretty labor intensive so we incorporated clothing sales as well, and it worked.

We started our engineering consultancy in 2011, and when we were doing our business plan we reached out to a friend we knew at Central Pacific Bank who really helped. They got us started with an account, a line of credit, but probably most importantly, good business advice for our new company.

We had been at both of the big banks — for decades — but no one ever seemed to care that we were there. Every year or so our loan officer would change, so there was never any continuity.

Central Pacific Bank (CPB), in collaboration with Chef Hui, announces the results of the Meals 4 Maui fundraising campaign, that provided locally sourced nutritious meals to residents impacted by the Maui wildfires, while supporting local small businesses and farmers.
