We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the devastating fires on Maui. Our hearts break for everyone who has been impacted. From resources for disaster relief to CPB Foundation's $50,000 donation to the Hawaii Red Cross, we remain committed to looking after our valued employees and customers and we are working on efforts to support those in need.
Maui Community Savings Program
We can only begin to comprehend what the West Maui community has gone through. Finding a sense of normalcy will take time, but finding the right partner with the right resources can make all the difference.
During our nearly 70-year history, Central Pacific Bank has offered guidance and financial support when the community needed it most. Our new savings program for those affected by the wildfires is one example of our commitment to helping our customers rebuild. This program not only offers convenient access and safety, but also offers a special savings rate of 3.25% Annual Percentage Yield (APY)1, allowing you to make the most of the funds you have received.

Yes, we will be offering a Natural Disaster Loan for anyone negatively impacted by the Maui fires.
- $1,000 - $10,000 Loan Amount
- 24- and 48-month terms, fully amortizing
- First payment due date is deferred up to 90 days
- Rate Range 7.5% - 8.5%
- Applications will be accepted online via bank or at a branch
Maui Relief: When applying online, Must enter Code MFIRE23 & Provide explanation on how you were impacted by the fire in the notes section to qualify for this program.
Federal disaster loan programs, such as business physical disaster loans, economic injury disaster loans, and home disaster loans, are available through the Small Business Administration (SBA) at disasterloanassistance.sba.gov. All loans are subject to credit and other eligibility requirements. Call 800-659-2955 for more information.

Central Pacific Bank (CPB) is continuing to work on solutions to help people impacted by the Maui fires and today announces it will waive ATM and safe deposit box fees, expedite debit card and checkbook replacement, establish a hotline for Maui customers, and provides an update on the Lahaina facilities.
Hawaii Bankers Association member banks accepting monetary donations to support Maui relief efforts
The Hawaii Bankers Association (HBA) announced today it launched Aloha for Maui, a program accepting donations at any of its member branches statewide to provide assistance to the people, businesses and organizations impacted by the Maui wildfires.
CPB foundation donates $50,000 on behalf of Maui fire victims
The Central Pacific Bank Foundation is donating $50,000 to the Hawaii Red Cross to help victims of the devastating fires on Maui.

Effective 8/10/23, CPB has temporarily suspended the surcharge fee non-customers are assessed when using our ATM.
Yes, the bank will reimburse ATM transaction fees based on the following conditions:
- Primary account owner has an address with a Maui zip code (96708 - Haiku, 96713 - Hana, 96732/96733 - Kahului, 96753 - Kihei, 96761/96767 - Lahaina, 96768 - Makawao, 96779 - Paia, 96784 - Puunene, 96788 - Pukalani, 96790 - Kula, 96793 – Wailuku)
- Transaction fees were posted to checking or savings accounts
- Fees related to CPB customers using non-CPB Domestic ATMs
- ATM Surcharge Fee charged by the ATM owner
- ATM Fee charged by CPB ($1 for inquiry, $3 for domestic withdrawal)
- Reimbursement will be applied monthly based on statement cycle and will have a description of "Maui ATM Fee Reimbursement"
