Central Pacific Bank Appoints John Miller to SVP & Special Assets Department Manager

Central Pacific Bank (CPB) has appointed John Miller to Senior Vice President & Special Assets Department Manager. In his new position, Miller is responsible for the oversight of the Special Assets Department and Home Loan Special Credits portfolio and is responsible for monitoring and approving transactions related to the Bank’s portfolio of Other Real Estate Owned. The Special Assets Department is responsible for managing the classified and delinquent loans with a goal to reduce non-performing assets and classified loans, minimize loan losses, recover old loan losses and maintain compliance with bank and regulatory requirements.

Miller has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. He was previously with American Savings Bank, where he served as VP & Special Assets Officer. Miller has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Florida.
