HONOLULU, HI (May 27, 2022) –Central Pacific Bank (CPB) is proud to be the only bank featured in UNIQLO’s latest “Together in Hawaii” UTme! release which celebrates the company’s fourth anniversary of opening its Hawaii location at the Ala Moana Center. CPB’s Shaka Cat and Shaka Checking logo are just two of the designs customers can choose to place on custom made T-shirts and tote bags.
“We are thrilled to help UNIQLO celebrate its anniversary of opening its store in Hawaii for our local community, while also raising money to fight hunger,” said CPB Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Brandt Farias. “The CPB brand and our iconic images reflect the vibrancy of Hawaii, and we know customers will have fun placing them on the UNIQLO shirts and tote bags.”
The exclusive UTme! collection features Hawaii based artists, nonprofits and beloved brands including CPB, Zippy’s, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Protect & Preserve Hawaii, Jack Soren, Lauren Roth, and Jasper Wong. The designs are only available at the UNIQLO store at Ala Moana Center beginning Friday, May 27, 2022.
UNIQLO will donate 5% of all Hawaii UTme! sales to the Hawaii Foodbank to support its mission to fight hunger, through November 2022. UTme!, a popular UNIQLO service worldwide, provides a hands-on T-shirt designing experience. The shirts are available in kids and adult sizes and the tote bags come in mini and regular sizes. Pricing ranges from $19.90 to $29.90.
